Ebay UK down last night
 

EBay UK was down an hour last night in between 20.55 -21.55 GMT approx.

eBay UK down? Current status and problems | Down Detector

During this time, I could not access this site as well!

I was convinced a few sites were under cyber attack!

I am told it is to do with DNS Servers. I use Virgin Media.

Can someone explain what on Earth was going on last night?

I have read conflicting stories and explanations.

Confused.....

I am with virgin and not many sites would load for me either.
Ebay, Aspkin and a few others..

Was on the phone to virgin for over 30 mins trying to get it right.
Eventually it came right on its own, without the help of the foreign call centre.

On a more seri-a*se note, I had the same hassles.

I had something fuse on my power board at the same time the 'puter decided to frizzle.

Nerve-wracking time. If my brother did not remote access for me & sort issues, I thought the worst.
