eBay Item Removed No Notification
 

I just had a item removed by ebay without an email notification indicating why. I noticed the same question asked yesterday and I searched+more searching in the forums for an answer - no luck. Basically, I want to know is this happening to anyone else and why? I'm not selling VERO items. Thanks in advance.

Was your acct Phone Verified? How old is your acct?
Was the item a Brand Name, maybe not a true Vero, per se, but a HOT item?
How is your Paypal acct? any complaints?
What is your feedback/ Safe + Trust Score?
Alot of factors go into pulling items..

Yes, phone verified. Account is approx 30 days. Item is software restore disc for Apple. My Paypal is in good standing verified and confirmed. No complaints 100% FB with 7 ratings. Been selling on eBay for over 6 years. Just ran into this board and I like the resources here.

I know plenty of eBay processes but this is the first time I came across a listing being removed without even receiving an email notification. Typically, when eBay pulls a listing for a policy violation, you receive an email with details. For example MC019 are for copyright infringement listings. No email, no details. But my questions now is this...does the listing being pulled affect my trust and safety score. This is the second time it has occurred for this acct. What are your thoughts.

You meet all the criteria for being banned.

You a good seller with perfect feedback who has been selling for years.

Now ebay will kick you off for all your good work.

Aye, eBay tends to do things without email notification. It's a pain to figure out what went wrong at times.

You are not allowed to sell restore disc for laptop desktop PC's if it does not come with the Physical Laptop or Desktop itself. Any OEM Bundle package or Restore Disc that came with the computer is not allowed. You must sell them both Disc and the Computer in the Same Auction.

Ebay might of Pulled your listing and sent you an Email but you probably added Ebay email to your Spam folder to be deleted. LOL.:rolleyes:

If it is not in your Spam Folder then look in your Ebay messages in your ebay account for the alerts. Hope this helps.

So if this has happened, do you think its safe to maybe change the images and wording and try to relist?

I agree with Smile - start opening new accounts. I had an item removed from my account last June - AFTER it sold and was delivered. I never got a notification about it either. - I just stumbled onto it when I entered the listing number looking for something else. My eBay account was suspended about a month ago and they referred to this removal when I called them. The buyer was happy and there was no problem on their end. I think that this is a sign that your account has been flagged - which means the beginning of the end. Relisting the same item that you had pulled may just accelerate the inevitable.

I got a listing pulled about 2 weeks ago with no notification also. im not selling vero items. i couldnt figure it out either. so i just started keeping my selling activity low and started listing on other accounts. i havent had anything else happen since then. i was told by ebay live that i didnt get a notification because their "message system is having problems right now".
