Buyer request me to cancel eBay order

Buyer just place an order on my eBay item, and he paid. Right now he contact me said he wants to cancel his order. If I open a case on the Resolution Center about cancel order, will this effect my seller's credit on eBay system? Is it better if buyer open a cancel order case or seller(me) open a cancel order case?

If you click on the order and do a 'seller cancellation wants to cancel a transaction' and then make sure you choose 'buyer bought by mistake or changed there mind' it shall not effect your account.

But if you leave it for the buyer to report you and open an account it might effect your account.
