Selling Internationally

What are the requirements for selling internationally?

Is it still a requirement to receive 10 seller feedbacks before we can do this?

Seems slightly over the top to me considering many don't even bother leaving feedback nowadays.

I would like my stealths to sell Internationally asap.

Why?

Are you prepared for all the issues of doing that? chargebacks, scammers etc etc?

Yes it is a requirement.

For me selling only on .com from .it it is quite a pain in "there".

I use to inseart a little leaflet in the envelope going to the customer saying that "I hope the item is ok ...bla... bla... bla... please leave a good feedback on Ebay if you are a satisfied customer"
They usually do so.

Interestingly I have never had a serious problem selling Globally.

I always use the best couriers for everything so nothing gets lost.

I really enjoy it, maybe its just me but I love doing business round the world!

Think it is 90 days since your 1st sale as well as 10 seller feedback.

10 feedbacks shouldn't be a very hard requirement for you to meet.

Selling 20 items on your domestic market should do the trick.

Forget about about selling internationally and concentrate about getting more sales on the UK website. Reason is once the item leaves the shores of this country you have no chance of tracking and you are at the mercy of the buyer. Be warned.

I know.

I have been selling Internationally for years and love it.

The items I sell are always shipped by courier the entire distance with full tracking.

I use Parcelforce/TNT/UPS/Fedex/DHL.

I recently sent an item to Spain using Direct Entry through Parcel 2 Go. Cheap and had no issues. may use them again.

The only issues I have had in the past is at customs. Some officials are blatant thieves.

South America and Russia are the worst offenders in my experience.

When I very first started I used International Signed For, where tracking depends on the countries own Postal Service.

Never again after two items went missing, one in Italy and one in Lithuania.
