eBay variations

my main ebay account got banned in feb with $5000 sales. Made a new one in march and I have $500 in sales so far with 80/$8000 limit (they doubled it every month and then went from 40/4000 to 80/8000 in two weeks) automatic raise.

Anyways, all this is nice and stuff but I want to be able to list with variations like one listing with 10 different types of shirts. When I try to do that it asks me to verify my identity "New sellers must verify their identity" and when I click continue it asks me personal question that point to my real identity.

I am using a variation of my name,the address listed on the account is an old apartment from 2 years ago ( i was 17 then). I feel like they know I have a stealth but they don't want to ban me until I confirm my identity

so should I wait until I pass 90 days and see if that identity confirmation is listed by itself? My paypal is bank and CC verified

This happens when your trying to list to manny items too soon

When I get this message on a stealth account, I usually just wait it out. But not all of my stealth accounts get this limitation when I try using the variation listings. So it is pretty much random like everything else that EB does.

Going slowly and allowing natural rises will be your better, and safer, option.

Make more stealth accounts as well and spread your sales.

:welcome;

Thanks guys. I was listing to the limit which is why I probably got a natural raise in limits every month. However my sales aren't satisfying because some of my items aren't selling as well. With variations I can get much much much higher rate of sale.
I guess I'll wait it out. Thanks!

You need to wait until you get high enough listing limit to really go for the sales, make more stealth accounts in the meantime, and just try to list up to your limit on that account to see how high your limits can go, get another raise on it and you should be able to do some of those multiple size and style listings

This is just an example. But at one time I had generic iphone cases that I sold. Of course they come in different colors and I dont just want to list 1 of each color (what would be the point). But I would still list them (not in variations) as individuals until the restriction finally went away. 90 days was the longest I had to wait for the restriction to go away. This was also with flexing that category as well though.

When does the 90 days start? Is it from when the account was created Or the first sale?
