Shipping via Global Shipping Progran with a stealth account
 

Hi guys,

Long story short, I have a pending shipment that is via ebay Global Shipping Program on my Stealth account. I do not want to be exposed that this account is stealth. Should I just refund the buyer. Any stealth account holder has experienced this?

My concern is because my stealth account is located in a state that is different from the state I ship from (neighbor state). I am worried that when the GSP people see the location of acceptance, I will be exposed. Are you in the same situation? Any word of advice is tremendously appreciated. Thank you

That is like saying you are only allowed to go to the Post Office in your zip code. People travel to work across states. There are a million reasons why you would take this package and drop it off at a different Post Office besides the one in your city, state, and/or zip. Your paranoia is kicking in. You have nothing to worry about.

Sellers can have an despatch address of items. That might be in another state.

It's like your IP being in a different state.

However, I would also consider not using the Global Shipping Program altogether.

Too much ebay looking into an account for me.

Global shipping is safe and can save you INR.

I had one problem when a buyer opened INR. They opened the case in Paypal. I provided both USPS and international tracking numbers. Item arrived US depot and left, but ended somewhere.

Paypal ruled the case in favor of the buyer, but did not charge me because the fault was Global Shipping Program.

This is rare in my experience.
If they opened it on ebay, you would have lost your item along with your money. This is from experience a year ago, not current environment.
