Default MC999 eBay account restriction

Just got this message after listing 1 product (opened account a couple of weeks ago). I called the number got a female, had all info ready answered all questions. HOWEVER, they couldn't confirm my information on a public data base so she wanted me to send a copy of government ID and utility bill? How do I get around this?

First thing is what did you list to trigger it?

Did you follow the many threads advice on what to list and what NOT to list on a new account?

I really think you should get the stealth guide to teach yourself. It's very important.

At this point I think your current account is toast. So use the guide to create some new ones and before you start selling on it, decide if that item is super high risk to re-sell.

Otherwise it'll happen all over again.

You can get the stealth guide from one of the links in my signature below.

How old should the account be? I waited a couple of weeks? I listed 1 used pool cleaner 24 vdc power supply. $89.00. No ⊗⊗⊗⊗.

Try office supplies : paper, pens, pencils, staples etc.... or try used books.

A item over 15 bucks is gonna bring attention no matter what it is.

a couple of weeks sounds good.

And it's a matter of listing a couple of items the first month then build off that, rather than dumping everything you got right off the start.

Your first item was way too high to list

Account needs more credibility. Had you surfed around, established cookies?

That right there is massively bad! Gotta keep Cookies in place for each stealth account separately.

Are you using separate User Accounts on your Computer?

You should not delete the cookies. Every account (when you have multiple accounts) should have its own Windows USER account

Sounds like you got an anal rep. Was the paypal verified and link? Did you get an SR email ? As soon as you hear " i am gonna email you directions" hang up and hope they don't follow through... call back IMMEDIATELY before the "SR" is recorded on your account, that's service rep for short, if you can beat the SR to your account, and you get no emails, you may get a friendly rep who will give you 10-25 items. I had 50 once. I've had them tell me i had to send the stuff in, but in the mean time they could give me a 10-25 limit to start... But so far those accounts even nearing 50 + selling transactions have not been auto lifted..So i think they are flagged if they never send in the docs..Which sucks. Most of those accounts started off 0/0 and wouldn't even let me list an item. Since that time, i changed to NON MOBILE TETHER creating accounts eg.. cable modem, and have not had a rep say send in docs..Just the typical "we require all new sellers to call in" after i listed the first item. If you didn't get a 0/0 to start..You should auto raise after 3-4 months of good selling history. So far 0/0 accounts of mine aren't getting bumped, maybe it'll change..Who knows, i will say a few did. I just had one go from 90 to 270?! wtf? And i have others who started at 25 and sold all 25 every month, and have yet to get bumped after 4 months!! I have an account from last july that was 10items.. never getting bumped, i called in and it got bumped to 25 items.... but they said without papers.. that's the best they could do..Well guess what? 10 months later? Still at 25. still selling all 25 each month and 100% 5.0 feedback. Still at 25...So once you call in, whatever they give you.Seems to what you get stuck at..Unless the rep you speak to doesn't mark your account.
