eBay limits sales for one item
 

Hello,

When I tried to increase the quantity for sale of an individual item I received the following message from eBay.


“We’re always looking for ways to make eBay a safer place to buy and sell. As part of this effort, we limit how many of these items you can sell in one listing. You need to reduce the number of items your’re offering before submitting this listing.”


Can anyone tell me what is causing this and if there is anything I can do so that I am not limited in the number of units that I can sell for a particular item.

You either ran out of items to sell OR you ran out of items to sell in a specific Category.

It's just a category limit, all accounts have Account limits which is total items you can sell and also has a category limit as well

After the 90 day mark of selling that item if all feedback and DSRs are good than the category limit is usually removed

Yup category limit, try selling more than one cell phone on a newer account, it doesn't work :s

Yup, and some categories have some really high limits, so its live and learn when starting out.

Dont sell so many Rosetta Stones on one account, haha, spread the sales around. High risk items have these limits placed on them.
