First seller account ever. Go stealth or not
 

Hello there all happy people :)

I will start my first ebay business soon, and i never had a seller account before. So let me ask,

Should I open ebay seller account and upgrade to professional?
Or should i start with stealth accounts from the beginning and try as many as needed without paying monthly fees?

I do have around 100 different products , some of them are quite expensive 300$...

I did not buy a book (yet)... If i will know that the better idea is to start selling with stealth , then, I will buy it asap. :)

Its ok im new as well, but I think personally you should start off with going stealth.

Going stealth does not mean you dont pay any seller fees.

You still have to pay the fees man.

Do both but do it correctly and not get them linked.

Also, you wont be selling 300.00 items on any new account.

Ebay wont allow it.

And you pay your fees, you used their services and need to pay their fees so it does not hurt the rest of us.

I was on ebay for over ten years prior to getting banned. I would say do both because it will happen and if you're not prepared you'll be like me twidling thumbs waiting to get set up again.

As a new seller, you will have very low limits and really need to start slow and watch your items making sure they are not in any high risk category - no possible vero/copyright issues. Having the stealth accounts will help with this as well because you can spread out more items across however many accounts you safely create. Read some of the posts for starting out on here. Great info compiled together in the ebook so get it.

Dont rush and i second what Sandy D suggested. If you want test things do it on your stealth accounts, but before you can even test you need to know how to properly run multiple stealth accounts.

Welcome to the forums Arkus - best to learn stealth and get multiple backup accounts going. Forum has good discussions for you to read

My first and only piece of advice is for you to only take advice from members who have been on this site for a long long time. YOu can tell by the number of posts they have made.

As a side note.......DK is near the top of the nicest places in the world.

Like Sandy I suggest both. Going stealth is different in each country. Depending on how much you plan on selling, etc. I would always rather have stealth accounts if possible. But at some point given constraints you may need a your regular "legit" account.
