buyer wants to return the item
 

Hi guys, I need some advice again .

I have got a account ,the address is just a random one, I have attached the returning address with the item when I sent it , but the buyer did not keep it and now wants to return the item , what should I do ? If I have it send to my address , will it link to my old account ?

You e-mailed him the return address outside of eB? It won't link in this way...avoid sending the address via eBay messaging service because manual review could causing linking if agent sees this and decides to investigate

That or you could tell him you will send him a prepaid shipping label and just fold it up and send first class mail for like .49 cents

I have this happen all the time without difficulty and just reply using gmail. NOT eBay.

So this will likely be frowned upon but I have sent my address to several people across multiple stealths to return items. Never had an issue.

I have the send it to Xyz company c/o my way! Name on the stealth account.

I try to make it simple.

I have a few mom and pop PO boxes for all returns.

I tell them they must return to my returns dept for complete credit etc.

I then send the address through gmail, never on ebay.

I let them know I have sent them a message and instructions.

None of my return POs are ebay or paypal accounts so no connections.
