Hey guys,

I just heard today that come August 20th, eBay will be opting everyone into their Hassle Free Returns program, where it automatically gives buyers a return label without them necessarily ever having to contact you.

Does anyone know if there will be a way to opt out of it, and if there is, if doing so will hurt your search rankings?

Its compulsory for UK business sellers from 13th August.

This is just for UK? If so, USA will follow soon.

Yeah definitely not just UK only.

I think you can opt into now if you want, but that everyone will be opted in automatically coke August 20th.

For people who don't have access to their stealth addresses or have everything returned to a central location via providing their own return labels, this could be a big problem if there isn't a way to opt out.

Plus ebay always uses more expensive shipping companies. I usually like to send people my own return labels.
