vetman90 | 07-01-2014 01:33 AM | Total Amount Sold Per Year Vs. Total Items Sold What's been everyone's experience so far this year with eBay asking for more ID due to excessive sales, you know, the 200 item/$20,000.00 sale rule??
I know what I'd like to hear but whats the reality for a stealth account that would show a pattern of being able to sell at least 500 items per year but never exceeding say $10,000.00 ??
I hate to put my accounts to sleep at 160 sales when my total dollars only add up to $5,000.00. This is my second year and it is mirror image to last year.
If eBay is only worried about Uncle Sam then the $20,000.00 per year seems would be the real concern don't you think.
So is anyone else testing this rule by selling over 200 items with a low dollar volume this year??
How many of us got snagged by eBay for a SS or EIN number because of too many sales this year even though dollar value was nowhere near the 20k ??? |
