Does India not have access to background check?
 

(pertaining to me calling them about listing my first item MC999) Not sure if anyone else has "observed" this but anytime i speak to someone from India they never go to the background questions, etc..... BUT... anytime I speak to someone in the U.S. they IMMEDIATELY go to the background questions... anyone else notice this pattern?

Havent really dealt with the Indian reps but I could see that happening - few people have told me it is harder to deal with those reps...they can automatically just request for documentation whereas with the US reps, you can feel them out but I don't have proof of this

yes, i have really been seeing a pattern and was thinking that maybe since India is outside of the U.S. that maybe they would'nt have access to it because of some type of "security" reasons ?.... just thinking out loud here....

I now try to get india and i notice that after 12am midnight eastern time the phones are switched over to India

It's been a long time for me, but maybe someone else has experienced it more recently. When I used to have newer accounts getting payment holds, I would stay up late at night (into the early morning 1-2am) just to make calls to release the payments. The Indian reps would do it immediately without checking to see if it had been 3 days since a package was delivered. Sometimes they would release anything that just had a tracking number on it, which was everything I had.

I don't know if this is still the case because I have not done it in years. But, that was my experience.
