When are you safe to make that 1st Listing ?
 

It seems to me the biggest problem with getting cracked by ebay was the difference in submitting that first listing (with a new account right away) Vs. not (waiting to).....Of course there isn't an exact science behind when you can list after registering a new account....but I would love to get others experiences on how soon you have listed after registering that new account, and further what was the starting price, the category, auction duration (5 day, 7day, etc), how many listings did the first time after reg'ing.....This would be incredible to hear your success regarding this matter..thank you in advance for those that share here!

It all depends on what it is as well. The book covers this a bit. With a few accounts I started listing right away. Start using ebays own listing html generator instead of providing your own. It makes it look like youre just starting. Keep all of the options standard when listing.

Then progress to using HTML and different options.

Personally I wait 45-60 days after I create a account before I start listing items to sell.

I think it kinda depends on what you sell. If your selling household items I dont think it really matters, but I would still wait at least 1 week or 2 before you start listing. New ebayers dont sign up and list the first day.
