Recent Irregular Ebay Account Activity
 

So today I logged on a handful of my 2-3 month old stealth accounts whom are yet to have any kind of sales history. When I went to list my first item on each account, I was surprised to see that every one of them (6 in total all started at separate times/dates/ips/user accounts/blahblahblah) have been given an automatic selling limit of 0 unless I call in to confirm their identities.

Is anyone else having this issue? I currently have 30+ stealth accounts fully operational, all of whom began at 10/1000 without having to do anything other than create the account, link paypal and let sit for aging purposes. This is the first time I've been hit with this, and it's been a consecutive 6 accounts. It's throwing me for a loop!

Yes on 4 of them. No on two of them

I did have this a month ago, that account still had red 0/0 today.

Today, I converted 3 USA accounts to selling and there was no problem.

I also created a new Canadian account and converted an old Canadian account to selling, and there was no problem either.

I am not sure what triggers this, but it has been happening for many here.

Very very strange!

I'm wondering if they've implemented something into their database which automatically attempts to verify the registered name with the address before we even get a chance to go through any sort of selling limit review process
