Has Anyone Been Re-instated after Selling Restriction
 

I have been indefinitely restricted from ever selling on ebay again after 12 successful years. I just wondered did perseverence of phoning or writing to ebay get anywhere for anybody and were they successful in getting their account reinstated.

I myself have written to their head office in Ireland (trust and safety dept) and rang up numerous times but the person on the other end of the line just doesn't want to know and won't do anything to help.

Is there someone in particular that can be contacted within eBay either by email or phone who will look into the case fully to come to a fair decision.

any help would be much appreciated

I saw people getting the restrictions off after more then a year. The chances are very low and doesn't worth to wait, just start stealth and after a year try calling and asking to take off the limits.

What was the reason for your suspension?
Did you already appeal to paypal?

I was suspended after listing an item that was removed as a Vero listing.
I haven't contacted Paypal as my account with them is still running, the problem I have is with eBay.:doh:

I did, my account was indefinitely restricted due to having multiple accounts but i just called ebay up and said i was unaware of the rules lol.....next thing you know the guy said "ok well just don't make anymore accounts" and he reinstated me :)

even if an account is reinstate, it is always stained and not worth the hassle in my opinion.

someone I know got reinstated after mc999 ban hammer but is now having weird issues.

like verifying his email 3xs a day. ebay sends him a email code then he puts it on the site and is fine but he keeps having to do it...

strange stuff. I say start fresh and build multiples :)

I have known one person who has done it twice. They were legit accounts one with SSN for PP and the other EIN. He has to call in and talk to the seller venting department of eBay for like a week. Get one the phone with the person who actually removed his items. Then after faxing legit business info related to his state etc. They were finally reinstated.

If it is a stealth account. Might not be worth the hassle. If it is a legit account and you have reasonable gripe might be worth escalating.

I once an account reinstated after a indefinite ban. I was very happy, until it got banned again after 2 weeks.

Just start again via stealth.
