Selling first 10 items
 

Hello dear moneymakers,

Can I list any product for instance which costs 50cents with free P&P and ask friends to buy it, so i can fast get verified and get limit raised?

After they buy i simply dont send them anything, also they would write a review, is it alright to do that?

sounds risky to me as i have heard ebbbay can flag you for selling outside normal amounts, i.e. too cheap, so on a new account i would not do it,
if it is your friends who will buy why not make the price just a little lower than others,
keep in mind i have also had ebbbay limit me because my items were listed and sold within minutes..... ( to friends ) which also flagged my account,

i think patients is the answer, slow and steady = strong account.

Crap, i already sold 1 unit for pretty high price, to my brother which lives in UK right after i listed. BTW my account is legit as the non stealth account.. Would that be a problem already?

i doubt it is a problem one or two items could of course sell fast, but the way you put it in your first post it sounded like you were about to do quite a few which i think might have been a problem with a super low price and instant sales .....

i am sure others with more knowledge than me will chip in soon....

You should be OK with your brother and all of that. Just be careful and go slow from here on out. Dont let ebay raise red flags by doing anything suspicious i.e. having the same account or IP keep buying your products.

Keep in mind that slow and steady wins the race. Just because you get a lot of FB with a new acct doesnt mena EB will boost your limits. You almost always have to wait 90 days or longer. That is not in stone. Sometimes shorter, sometimes longer. EB also likes to see tracking on items. I dont know about how your parcels get shipped in your country, but in the US you usually pay about $2 to ship packages with tracking included.

Trick is to list items you can buy used from yard sales, garage sales and thrift stores.

I build 500 sellers accounts up by doing this and have not lost any account in going on 4 years now.

I agree, I wouldn't mess around with anything like that...too many ways to buy some used stuff and sell it without worrying about anything, like the fire you're playing with.
