Seller requirement level (above/below standard) Advice?

How the hell does ebay calculate the seller performance standards in the seller dashboard???

I've always been left really confused about this, for example it used to be evaluated on the 20th of every month right? well for example when it hit 20th it would say i have made 927 transactions in 12 month period, then everyday thereafter that i make a sale it adds to the 927 and increases which is all good. Till it reaches like 30th of that month, then thereafter every sales i make it doesnt increase in the dashboard??? its as if its stuck on 927 (or whatever it would be at that time) until the 20th of the next month, even though i would of made say 50 sales!. When ive spoke to ebay about it they reply as if they are programmed robots and not giving me my answer but instead telling me i had so and so sales in the history of the account, so dummy.

Anyway the reason im asking really is because my account has been below standard for some time with a couple of months showing as above standard. I bought the account 7 months ago from a guy who gave up online business, he had 3 unresolved cases against him which he refused to pay up to the buyer. Which has had a negative impact on the account.

Could anyone give me some good advise if i was to show you my projected seller level? my understanding is (i could be wrong) that i need to make 200 more sales in 10 days time with hope nobody opens any dispute (as that is what the seller requirement is based on now apparently??) or i will be below standard again.

Im willing to PM my seller level if someone would be kind enough to advise?

Thanks

Re: Seller requirement level (above/below standard) Advice?

eBay does not update the sales numbers daily on the dashboard, those numbers update at the end of the month or when the account is reviewed on 20th of each month. However, the defects are updated almost instantly.

Changes can happen during the review, I have seen this on one of my accounts. For example, one of my accounts would already be a TRS, but that may not happen until August 20th.

Just keep doing all the good things and that account will survive. When you slip to the RED, you will have at least 3 months (I may be wrong) to improve, not much to worry about.
