eBay Name

My friend has a question that he wants me to post on here for advice,

His eBay account is linked with Paypal so when he purchase something on eBay, the seller uses that name on the delivery label, but he wants to know is it possible to change the name?

I have told him that it's not possible but what are your thoughts?
