outofluck | 07-23-2014 08:03 PM | Panda 4.0 Just wondering if anybody heard of Panda 4.0 from google.
And what affect it had on eBay search results.
I tried searching panda 4.0 on this forum but got results.
Sales are extremely down.
eBay TRAFFIC is extremely down it seems.
Anybody agree? |

stanislav | 07-23-2014 11:56 PM | Re: Panda 4.0 Everyone here did. I can assure you, you are not alone. But it's not only because of Panda. In fact it has nothing to do with Panda. eBay was manually demoted by Google for bad SEO practice. |

:smash: | Cassini has nothing to do with it either. A lot of sellers including myself manipulate search results in order to capture more keywords but when a certain buyer is looking for another product they might see product that isn't exactly what they are looking for. Nothing really wrong with Cassini search, it's just eBay is hiding listings in order to give more sales to sellers who's DSR is higher than yours, mine. |
GreenBean | 07-24-2014 12:39 AM | Re: Panda 4.0 Cassini is a contributing part.
Non-professional sellers completely underestimate what happens to listings.
You only need read some of the stories of newly suspended users. They do not know the game. |

I got several accounts with perfect dsr but these other sellers with lower dsr are above my listing. I even have similar everything to them. Sales, watchers, price, return policy, you name it. |

just_smile | 07-24-2014 03:20 AM | Re: Panda 4.0 The ebay uk search function is totally broke.
You type in 'nike windbreaker jacket' andall sellers are from abroad. Underneath it shows the uk sellers in the suggested other sellers at the bottom. If I search using google chrome browser, then firefox, the results are completwly different.
Sometimes it works properly, uk sellers at the top and.an inclusive list. Other days its impossible to find what you want. |

Sometimes an account with perfect everything, it's seems like that account is pushed back in search results. | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 03:14 AM. | |
