New DSR System
 

I have just on the off chance looked at my DSR area on a TRS account of mine.

It turns out the new system has kicked in. The worst part is under the new system my account does not meet TRS standards :smash:. Anyone else in the same boat as me?

We are now judged on 7 defects. Why have they made it even harder for us? Was their flaws in the last DSR system or something?

Not in the same boat but eB has been making it harder...just the trend of the system - not at all smart

I think the opened cases as a strike is insane. Buyers open cases for some crazy reasons. I dont see what the problem is as long as the seller irons the issue out.

I send my goods by unsigned for mail. We all know some people will open cases saying they did not receive the item when they did. Fact of life that i accept. But being punished for this is like a double slap in the face.

I know you guys will say just send via signed for. I cant really do that due to costs. And from my understanding even if say there is a mix up with signed for mail. If the buyer opens a case still you get penalized.

We cant win.

They are basically cleaning house, and unless you a big name seller they want you to pay full prices and eventually be gone

I'll almost guarantee that no big stores like Best Buy or Toys r Us would even meet the standard level under the new system but I'm sure they are holding a TRS account come Aug 20

The only way is to spread sales even thinner

All my TRS accounts are in the same boat. But since this is affecting all sellers, it will be fair.

The only problem is missing the 20% discount, eBay will save lots enough to hire more human robots.

Forget about TRS accounts it will be difficult to maintain a standard account anymore. EBay has it set up so if u need to contact the seller they lead them to open a case
