i miss ebay!
 

Ok i sold items on ebay since 1999. I racked about 10k feedback selling handmade items that were most part legit (towards the end it was legit).. But problem happened when ebay decided to get more corporal and ditch the small time sellers and increase there dsr ratings.. Since my items were handmade shipping was really slow.. so although i got 99.9 percentage on feedback they gave me the boot forever. Also i was taking care of my grandma at the time and she passed away and i wrote a long honest letter but still no answer.

My question is i want to come back and i obviously miss my master account where i met some fun people and loved the environment i will have to be a ninja now and kind of sucks cause it doesn't feel the same.. (feel souless)

So if following this askpen guys way what percentage would you say will allow me to keep the account going? if im careful just as the book..

You should consider making your own website and really focus on that.. use ebay to get in contact with your old and new customers

sorry to read your story. Plenty of people here was in the same situation selling different kind of stuff.
Things has changed in Ebay and Paypal since a few years so your way of businness shall change.
You are right, it is souless but give it a try and get your revenge on them. You can really increase your selling spreading sales on more than one account... stealth works and has quite some advantages.
You can also go for your own website, this is something you can manage together with some stealth accounts but, in my opinion, it will be hard to have a visibility like Ebay could give you.

At this point and factoring the way eBay is headed best to build your own site.

MANY factors factor into the percentage e.g. what you are selling, your understanding of stealth, etc. - can't really make an overall judgement call

I don't think that a personal website would get near the traffic that I get on eb. Not to mention the credibility. There are more +'s on eb than -'s. Or we would not be here on Aspkin.

Disagreed. In todays social media world, search engines, and 3rd party name brand shopping carts one should beable to make a successful ecom website.

I built two sites that were listed 1st page on google with a little work.

I agree get your OWN website going!! Sounds like you have a unique and good-selling product! But if you must get back on ebay, even though its stealth, you will still have your soul in it, its still your hard work!! Good luck to you!
