Hi everyone! I am a new member from Australia and I'd like to introduce myself, and thank everyone for all the extremely valuable information I have read here.

I wish I found this forum years ago! My first and (so far) only ebay suspension happened way back in 2003 for listing in the `wrong' category. Back then ebay didn't have a specific category for my items, and so they were constantly being reported by competitors and shuffled around to various `other->other' categories. It was such a stupid thing, and when I asked ebay to tell me EXACTLY where to list my items, they wouldn't be specific. The told me to use that `find a category ' tool in the SYI form, which is what got me into trouble in the first place.

When the suspension came, its was both unexpected and shocking. I was completely gutted. Suddenly I owed over $3000, had no income, and no real hope of being reinstated because I couldn't pay that kind of debt (let alone the rent) without money coming in. I had already left a good job to dedicate myself to my business and I felt so helpless.

Having gone through all that, I have a deep appreciation for the value of this forum. It makes me happy to know there is a place for people like me to go to save their livelihoods. Well done!
