Selling Fees

I'm still new to all of this, and I'm struggling to get on top of the issue of Ebay selling or listing fees. I read a few great articles that seemed to suggest there are no fees if you sell 25 items or more at one time, but then I read others who said the opposite.

My sister is new to Ebay as well and she just got clobbered with fees on her initial listings.

can anyone help to clear the air for me about the realities of listing on Ebay?

Re: Selling Fees

Fixed price listings are usually free for the month first 50 items.
Auction with bins as well if I recall.

Regular auctions are not always free and they cost.

Depending on the item category, you may or may not get the free listings.

When you use eBay itself to list, AT the end of the submission, it'll tell you the final cost of that one auction

Re: Selling Fees

Just to add to that there are also always Final Value Fees. These only apply when an item actually gets sold and is a % of the final sale prices + postage.

The % your sister will have been charged based on the items sale value will depend on which category the item was sold in.
