When best to list to get hits / bids?
 

Hi,

Got the Stealth Guide, live it and love it.

Any opinions on when is best to list for auction style listings to get bids / sales?

My "Good til cancelled" items on another account seem to get a lot of sales on Mondays. slows way down on Thursday and Friday.

My stuff is not the kind of stuff that people wait until the last few seconds to bid.

I run 7 day listings and have not had the stealth accounts long enough to gather data on time / day to have listings end.

Making your listing end on Sunday at 9PM est has been the popular opinion on books I have read. The books are 10+ years old, so I don't know how accurate that is.

If I had a second opinion,it would be weekdays while ppl are at work. 10+ years ago, smart phones were not as popular yet. Today smart phones are everywhere and it makes it quite easy to get on EB while at work.

Generally sunday niggt after 6pm but before 10om would be considered peak time.

If you dont have any conpetition running the same auctions, i'd finish them around that time.

But this is also dependant on the type of item you are selling, no?
