Hi people

Hi everyone looking for a quick bit of advice on one of my accounts I sell unbranded clothes really cheap in price varying from £5 to £15 now the thing is I have invested some money in electrical goods smartphones tablets etc and I want to sell them on this account as it is by far my highest limited account.

now I know electrical goods are high risk aswell as the fact the average price of item will go from £10 to nearer £250 im pretty sure the account will get flagged I would be surprised if it didn't. So I was thinking about ringing either paypal or ebay first to explain what I was doing and show them my invoices( which are all from legit sources)

The account is stealth but iv been running it successfully for 10 months with no hassle at all iv uploaded docs in the past that went through ok I don't worry about ringing them at all. What would you guys do?

The general advice is not to ring them, but I can see your predicament..

Hi yeah I understand why that is the advice given but to be honest its something I have always done as long as iv got all the stealth details in front of me and the accounts selling legit goods iv never had any problems.

Again the electrical items iv got are all from a legit source with invoices so that's whats making me lean towards ringing them. I mean I know what will happen the account will surely be flagged as these items iv got sell quickly and there high value

Hmm, if the are from a legit source and you have invoice then technically it should be okay!..

I don't know what I would do, would it be a massive problem if you lost the account?

It would be a pain in the backside if I lost the account but it would not be a massive problem I have lots of back ups that I sell on aswell. I just like this account to start the electrical items on because its got really high limits in 10 months its gone from 25/£750 limits to 960/£22,000 per month believe it or not. When your selling items that are 2 to 3 hundred pounds each high limits come in handy don't they

Re: Hi people

That's really good! Did you max out the sales limits each month to get that far?

I guess it's a risk, but if they are genuine items it should be okay.. Have you checked with the supplier that you are permitted to sell them on eBay, as you could get taken down for selling them if the manufacturer doesn't want their products on eBay.

I guess there are no definite answers as to whether it'll be okay.

Re: Hi people

I would personally just build up another stealth account and sell the electronics separate.

I would not want to risk one of my best accounts for unknown items. :ranger:

Electronics bring a new level of nut jobs to ebay.

Agree 1000% How many times here, has someone ended up here, because of electronics!

You may have invoices for the goods, and that may make them fine to sell. But what happens if they want to verify you as well. I would not call them.
