Need help with eBay selling limits

Hi,

I have a question in regards to the selling limits on eBay.

I have been running a perfectly legitimate eBay account for 5 years now with a feedback of over 550. Basically, over the years I trade in branded clothing during the summer and have a 100% positive feedback.

Luckily, this summer my clothing has been selling very well but unfortunately I still have a selling limit of 100 items per month or £3500.

I would like to get this limit increased. Just wondering, if my account is completely legiitmate for over 5 years and has 100% feedback with all stars over 4.6 would you say its a bad idea to call eBay and have my limits raised? Am I likely to get banned?

Please note that the items I am selling are branded and seem complete genuine with no complaints but will eBay not care and still ban me?

Thanks for the help.

Calling into eBay is not suggested. I would avoid that altogether.

You have a good account w/ nice limits. Rather than messing with this account, why not create more accounts?

If you truly want to call in and risk a CSR reviewing your account, think about how your business would change without having this account. If you have 20 other accounts, then maybe you can call in and risk it.

I still wouldn't though...established accounts are too valuable to me to take these kind of chances.

Hi, thanks a lot for your help. Your advice has really put me off calling all together so thanks very much.

Regards

Good luck...and you should really work on building more accounts if you haven't already. Don't rely on just one or two accounts.
