MC999 and slow sales

Hi.
Can a MC999 for listing a banned items cause slow sales?

so stupid of me, listed like 4-5 locksmith tools listings and got 2 x MC999 after an hour.
managed to avoid more of those by ending the rest of the listings immediately.

Any strike on eBay will sink your items lower in the search regardless of price.
