Can we email Digital Products

Since ebay introduced new policies digital products can not be shipped digitally, my question is, is it legal to send them by email ? or is there a way around this.

No, email the product would still violate Ebay's new rule. The way I get around it is that in my auction listing I say that it is a CD that will be mailed, but after the auction, I send the buyer an email asking if they want the CD or if they would rather download it from a link. So I give the buyer the choice. about half my buyers ask for the CD. Since so many of my buyers wanted the CD, I don't bother with the email anymore I just send the CD to everyone. I even have free shipping. It definately adds some extra expense though! :( bad ebay!

Yeah, it's all about the way you word the item description. I've been selling digital items for awhile, and almost had a heart attack when ebay said I could not sell them as I had been anymore. Each of my items sells for about $2, so listing them as classified ads, as ebays new model required made no sense.

I basically did as greekprime indicated, and listed them in a hardcopy format, stating multiple times in both the title, and description, that it was a physical good, that would be mailed. However, for me that hasn't really become much of an expense or issue, because my items are very time sensitive, and none of my buyers wish to wait for physical delivery. I've had to deal with them being delisted every now and again, but ebay has never suspended or limited my account for it (my account is from 2004 though).

I'd say just list them as physical items, and contact your buyers directly offering immediate digital delivery. You'll find most people will go for the instant gratification.
