Snad

I have a buyer who looks like she may try to attempt a SNAD case for receiving one item when 3 were send and received. Her EBay account was opened 2 days before she purchased.

Never been in this position before.

How does a seller defend themselves against this type of claim, and if EBay decided in their favour what would they do?

Would they ask them to return the items received, or just take their word for it?

My eBay

Account

Site preferences

Buyer requirements you can set how many items a buyer can buy or bid on within 10 days, if your selling high priced items, and it's not something someone would normally purchases 3 of than set that to 1 item, or 2

And if they try and purchase more than 1 or 2 items or whatever u set it at, they will be blocked and if they really want them they will message you and you can take a look at there feedback and whatever and decide from there

And you can also set it to where that preference is bypassed if the buyer has over 5 feedbacks as well

Its a very tricky situation.

Were all 3 items sent at the same time?
What is the cost to you per item roughly?

If the buyer wants a full refund, they will have to return the 1 item that they have had though. The other option is to issue a partial refund for the 2 items the buyer claims they did not get.

If it does go to a case, eBay will likely decide the case in favour of the buyer, but eBay may refund the cost of the 2 items themselves or they may ask you to do it.

Although its never happened to me, I beleive if they opened a case or 3 you would enter the same tracking details for each.

You should win the case.

Why should it be SNAD?

correct claim is INR.

How were they despatched? tracking, weight etc. value of goods if you decide to refund could be considered too.

Re: Snad

She bought all 3 together as one transaction through Paypal.

I have the tracking number that shows delivery hence I would win an INR.

They were all sent together.

She has now emailed me suggesting I send 2 more to replace the two missing items.

I have the weight and dimensions recorded.

I think I know how I will deal with this matter.
