MC999 call or leave it?
 

Accidentally started selling on the wrong account (1 week old). I got hit with the MC999. I want to call in but it MIGHT be linked to another account since I transferred some cash between the two. I don't want the other account to get suspended just b/c I called in and failed the ID check.

Does it say you have 48 hours to call in??

Because , if you don't call than after 48 hrs the account will be suspended and than if that goes down the other will follow if it's a strong link


If it is the normal 48 hour mc999 after ur first listing , maybe u should call and hopefully that money transfer may be looked over by the rep,and they will,just ask u about the product, shipping etc..

Either way if it gets suspended there's a strong chance the other will follow, it may help to post the exact mc999

I would call. That type of MC999 is usually when they ask you easy questions (not the public database ones), so passing that verification is pretty simple. Otherwise the account would be suspended.

Yep this is the 48 hour standard call, so call in and they will just ask you how do u ship, is the item in ur position , who is ur supplier, and so on.

But if u don't call this account goes down for sure and if there is a link it will bring ur other account down

So at least try u have everything to gain here

I don't see where you have anything to lose. Take a deep breath instead and answer the questions the way eb wants to hear them rather than what may be factual. Remember you are in need of cash and just selling household items. Be very low key and not a professional seller. Dummy down. I act real stupid when I call in.

Agreed! In this case, it is best to pretent to be the dumbest person in the room. Everyone loves a dumb animal!
