It's the unfortunate side of doing business. Buyers can do a "buy and try" and then return items that were previously brand new under eBay's Buyer Protection Policy.
You can try to instill a restocking fee for returning the item in Used condition. That may backfire though.
You can write something like this... Quote:

As stated in the listing, there is a 14 day return policy, however that has expired. I would still like to offer ways to resolve this issue for you.
Option 1: Partial Refund in the amount of $50
Option 2: Refund of original purchase price minus $15 restocking fee. Buyer responsible for return shipping.
| I find that when I offer the partial refund option, buyers like that you are willing to work with them (and a majority of my buyers choose partial refunds).
And this person's heel issue might magically go away if they are saving some $$$ in the process. |
