Printing Self Adhesive Labels

So I want to move into printing Self Adhesive Labels. Here are what I think will work for me:

I know I can use the side by side Printing shipping labels but I have seen where the item name is also printed on the shipping label, has anyone seen that before, or knows how to do that?

Thanks,
MM78

I've never seen the actual item your shipping on the label. Curious as to why you would want to display what's in the package.

I agree with aking, I don't see what good can come from printing the contents of the package ON the package.

I know this is not what you asked, but have you considered using something like the ZEBRA label printer along with a laser printer? It works wonders for me (I use ShipStation because of the automation) and the ZEBRA saves a lot of money on toner, since it prints thermal labels. It also makes the entire process faster, since both printers can be running at the same time.

Just a thought...

If it's done thru eBay postage, than before u purchase the postage there's a little box u can check, off that says sku#, you can than delete the numbers in the box and put whatever u want

I use this option , I never print the receipt and use both labels, so that I know what postage is for what item I put it in that box on the postage

It prints tiny and I put something I understand just say u sell 3 color radios and 3 color phones

I won't put red radio or blue phone

I'll put RDRO and BLPNE

Or whatever that makes sense to me without listing to everyone what's in the package

Thanks Bro, Yeah the writting is super small and I would probably be using code words IF I do go that route.

Thanks for the info.

I'm not sure how familiar you are with eBay postage center, but your able to get 2 labels per sheet if u want , when you are on the postage screen before you make a

purchase , there is a link towards the upper right of the page , it may be in blue "printer or postage preferences" click that and u can uncheck the box that says print a receipt

with every postage and click save, now you have 2 labels per sheet, and you can always change this if needed.

Also if you use the seller pro, I downloaded the free version on a couple big accounts in the past, and there is an option that will automatically print the title, buyer ID, etc.. On each postage if you want , and this is something u set up when u print ur first postage

But now I been spreading sales so thin I been just using the standard version, much more simple, and IMO easy to use, less cluttered with too much info

Thanks Dmshark, I don't sell a lot, I probably only sell between 30-40 items a month and 60-70 from October to December. Thank you everyone who responded.

so I'm gonna go with the following:

Oh great!! I didn't know you could do that, I always save my labels as a pdf and name it 8.28 item last name of buyer, for example (8.28 nx400 ink baker) then handwrite code on it after I print so I know what item it's for. That way I create the labels throughout the day and print all at once the next morning to take packages to PO.
