OK....Here's the deal.....one of my accounts was restricted today.....they want me to send in invoices/receipts to the video games I sell..... the problem is, I don't have any receipts.... I've been selling on this account 17 months with no problems....Feedback rating over 2,000 (99%). Do you they check the documents you send in?? What do you guys think??

Fax them copies of the "invoices" and "Receipts" of the games in question.

Why dont you have any receipts?

I am sure you can find them very easily with the smallest amount of creativity

It is worth a shot. If you have a legitimate supplier, you can offer to give eBay their information so they can verify it.

It sounds like they believe you are selling either counterfeit or stolen merchandise, but they are not sure, so they are looking into it. That is just my guess, of course.

Is it an account you can call in to ebay? If so, I would consider callling in to inquire what the issue is over not doing anything and risking loosing a good account.

Yankee has a point. IF - ***IF*** you are good on the phone, then a phone call can do wonders. There are no guarantees, of course.

Personally, I would get creative and send in an invoice first and then call in IF the account got limited. I'm not sure what I would SAY on the first call unless the account was limited.

My opinion is that you should ALWAYS try to salvage an account. It may not work, but you have nothing to lose. In the beginning, I let a few accounts go because I was afraid of "rocking the boat" so to speak. Then, I realized I had nothing to lose and started trying to save them - eBay, PayPal and Amazon. I saved several.

Over the years, however, I rarely lose accounts - I completely changed what I was selling and they don't bother me as much anymore.
