spam selling - loss leader

I am not ebay suspended, but on the cusp, and was looking for advice...

Right now I am at 4.4% and under ebay new policy above 5% is below
standard. 16 defects out of 360 sales / 16 divided by 360

my idea is to set up an item for a penny or a dime or a small amount
and have a family member buy the whole lot of 50 with a buy it now.

can anyone see this backfiring in any way?

The items would be paid for and not returned.

Big drawbacks and considered feedback manipulation and will end the account faster than that of the defect rates.

Run .99 auctions on your best selling and most popular items. Might make more money that you have ever before using this method. Ship instantly, etc.. Manipulate the market and your feedback the right way and you will be rewarded.

Would not leave feedback at all.
just interested in the raw sales #s.

Just to clarify:
Set up a buy-it-now 'auction'
Each item would be a dime. The quantity would be 50.
50 sales at a dime each. Or something similar.

My understanding is that it still only counts as one transaction, regardless if they bought them all at once or one at a time in a 30 day period.

Yes, there are several ways this can backfire, BigCJ pointed out the main one.

Basically a HUGE waste of time with little or no results. (or negative results)
