Worried about Stealth Account PLZ HELP
 

I created a stealth account in July bc my old one had been blocked from selling. I received a MC999 and called in they removed it and I was at 0/10 - 1000 limits. Everything was fine made a few sales and even have 1 positive feedback. Yesterday about 2 months later I tried to 2 list higher priced item and received another MC999 and I became concerned. This time they gave me 48 hours to call in to verify my identity. Since this is a stealth account all info is new from my old account, but I used a variation of my first name and my true last name. After 2 failed calls they would not remove the hold because they could no verify my identity in their public database search. On my 3rd call I received a very nice lady who asked basic questions about my selling goals but also did a database search and could not find me. The thing is she removed the hold and I'm able to sell again, but sent and email to provide utility bill and valid id. Obviously I can not send in this information because although my utility bill does has my address on the ebay account the first name is different but my last name is the same as on the ebay account. Also my id has my real first name and the last name on my new account, but has my address from the old ebay. If I just ignore the request for more info and keep my account under the radar will I be able to build my feedback up and this identity verification thing not become an issue? I'm worried and really don't want to have to continue making a new accounts. Would be greatly appreciated if anyone has insight on this.

that account is gone forget about it,

if you ignore their request that account is going to be suspended anyways
Stop using identical names just stop doing that

now create a new account

If I use a random name it still has to match the address it's linked to if they search the public database. Am I correct? Then I would be pretending to be someone I'm not...confused on how to resolve this.

start over you have been linked. doesnt matter you need to use all new info. very rarely if ever should you be calling in. closing in myself on accounts almost a year old. never talk to ebay, list high end all the time.

account is wasted most likely. I would not waste the effort trying to fix it.

YOU should not be worried about THEIR public database.

setup a new account and dont call into ebay or you will have problems, they probably linked or flagged the account early in the setup process and your high end items triggered it again. was a time bomb waiting to blow

Sounds good I'll definitely make new a account or maybe just buy one with higher starting limits. Since I am still able to sell I'll use it for as long as I can I guess thanks for the advice. If any account sellers are reading this please message me so we can work out a deal for me to buy an account.

Make a few accounts and spread the sales.

PM the sellers directly - they can be busy people

keep on churning out accounts and start slow. have patience and persistence and you'll do just fine

Thanks guys it just sucks having to start all over basically having to wait for your payments to clear. I was so used to getting paid the money directly into my account and being able to use my PayPal card whenever I needed. The 21 day hold is so annoying but not too bad since I ship fast and it clears three days afterwards. I have a lot of bills to pay and not much time but I think I'll figure it out. Hopefully the account I have now will stay below the radar and once I get more feedback identity won't be an issue. I'll make back up accounts just in case.
