What physical address should I use?
 

Can someone give me some feedback on what they use for their physical mailing address for Ebay and Paypal? I bought the Stealth guide yesterday and read it but still need some more advice. I don't have anyone's address to use, but my own and mine is not linked to my suspended account. Can I use a variation of my current address? I read in Stealth that Po boxes are banned and not the best idea. What is everyone else doing? I would love to hear from you all. Also, do the ebay address and Paypal mailing address need to match? thanks!

I do not care about returns so I just grab a random real address.

If I am reading correctly your mail you are saying that your real address is not linked to the suspended account, rigth?
If so, you can use it maybe with a variation of your name so you will look as a completely new member.

Generally speaking, it is recommended to use an address you have access to, for various reasons.

I have used variation of my Canadian address as well as existing US addresses for my US accounts. I have also used po boxes successfully when returns are necessary.

Po Boxes are not at all banned - can be cleverly altered to look like real addresses

They are not banned.

They are most useful for stealth needs.

They work well for many people.

Info should match between ebay & paypal, yes.

My current address is linked to my suspended email address so I can't reuse it. So would my best bet be to use a variation of my existing address? Can someone give me some examples?

No, your BEST bet would to be get a PO box....

I let them keep the returns. I use any old address thats a real one.

PO boxes are great, and as a backup plan you can use google maps.

I used a random address . in my area. Just go for it. Don't use shipping service , print lables Address packages manualy add tracking at Post office.

So basically you have to try the risk? I've tried addresses found on google maps and when I create them, the majority of them already have an account and I'm out the money I paid for my VPS etc. how can I better find addresses?

You spend money to rent a PO Box or use a Mom & Pop rental service.



If you go with USPS, you may even get the chance of having a street address for stealth purposes.


As for this tale of amending street addresses, it is nowdays very risky.

We found far too many users were getting MC999 because the accounts failed the address test.


Info is more directed at USA users.

I've used a po box for a buyers account.. Every seller that I bought from cancel my order and was trying to google my name to find my real address in my city. Of course different for seller account. No problems using real street addresses. Ever since 9/11 I don't know why it's a problem with po boxes since the people that own them delivers the mail!!!!!

So how would someone with 50+ accounts got around this then. Highly doubt they would use 50 po box address'

I doubt too, they would use 50 PO Boxes. And it's awful to steal somebody's adress without asking!

A person doing that amount of business would sit down and PLAN.

That's the whole point of selling on ebay.

You plan what to do to sell correctly.

PO Box for returns and use made up address as primary. You don't want the buyer sending back something expensive to someone else home. Just mix numbers and words up to make for primary and use PO box for returns haven't had any trouble, you would be surprised what street names exist so google your made up address to make sure its not occupied.
