Ebay Sellers! Dont you hate it When....
 

Dont you hate it when your competition goes and creates a brand New account and purchase your item only to TRY and make more sales for themself...

I know its my competition because I look at the product im selling which is VERY low competition (Im talking only 2 pages of the items listed and when I look at how many have been sold 10+ pages of that item sold) then I look at the members profile and see how long they been a member (oh they just joined ebay a few hours ago today..)( the reason i know because within a few hours of the posting going live.. a BRAND NEW member with 0 feedback has purchased)

So how can I stop this from happening because Im not a loser.. I dont have time to troll Ebay all day creating bogus accounts to kill my competition.. hell sometimes I dont have time to create more stealths.. ANYONE...ANYONE .... ANY suggestions!!!

Sadly, this is how the game is played.

If they pay, ship fast and keep great customer service. :violin:

If they know Stealth, its even harder to stop them. Best to block and move on.

OBVIOUSLY they dont bcuz I go to one of my other stealth accts and load it right back up after i do this about 2 or 3 times it sales.. but a times its a b*tch uuughh!!!

I think I had this one today. 0 fb, won auction and asked not to buy. I'm just going to use the unpaid item assistant to take care of it because it protects me from neg feedback. An acct that new can't give me neg unless they actually pay for it.

yes I always use the unpaid item assistant and set it at 2 days.. wish I could set it at 1 day

Step 1 block bidder list

step 2 cancel there bid

step 3 don't email them back when they ask how come u blocked me do it all the time lol.

but most of my auctions are BUY IT NOW.. theres no way I would know who to block until they have already clicked buy it now and chances are they will create a new account only to come back and do the same thing again

I agree 100%, especially with the 3rd step. The key is to ignore them, get them so frustrated that they stop making bogus accounts

Find out where the b@st@rd lives and go pay him a visit. I do this once a week, and I never hear from the person again. (Yes, this is a 100% lie!!!)

Block buyers like this in buyer requirements field when listing your items, if not all goes good open a item not paid case and leave bad feedback on account that should fix him.

Yea I guess Ill just have to list them all as "Auctions" instead of "Buy It NOW's" and use this option

What am I missing , why not just do BIN listing with immediate payment and set your buyer preferences to whatever u want like a buyer can only purchase and bid on 3 of my items in 10 days( or whatever you want )

what your missing is... these TROLLS that have nothing better to do will sit on ebay all day and create ⊗⊗⊗⊗ accounts only to KILL the COMPETITION - meaning if your selling product A at a lower price and they are selling product A at a higher price they will go create a bogus account only to click BUY IT NOW and knock your listing out of the race for a few days..

& theres no way you can see this coming if you set your listings at Buy It Now. Even if you go to the Buyer Requirements it wont allow you to block buyers with 0 feedback or brand new buyers that just created the account the same day.. which is what these TROLLS do.. so the best bet is to set all your listings as auctions and look for the TROLLS (the accounts with 0 feedback and "NEW MEMBER" as of the current date) Cancel their Bids and block them... I like to do BUY IT NOW listings but because of these TROLLS I now only do Auction Listing... get it?

whats even crazier is half these new scammers are using a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address!!

just a tip if you get a case opened google the address and see if the address actually exists. bet its a stealth buying account, seeing this more now a days.

did this recently and was very surprised by what I discovered!!!
