Just received this message by a Buyer
 

"can I return its really good but I got in trouble ans my parents are making me return it"

Like seriously , it was a brand new item , and now it's been opened and according to the message has been used , I never charged a restocking fee, but in this case I think I will and I'm not refunding shipping costs

I'll normally just refund everything and pay for return Postage , but this situation is different

The only thing is I charge the restocking fee they might open a case, awwww these stupid defects that we need to avoid now

Wouldnt that count as an unauthorized use of an account and they could be banned? lol :p

It's just ridiculous, put a password on your account if you are worried your kids will make purchases

They will get banned and I'll follow😞

Returns are part of doing business. just got to accept it.

I'm curious, does anyone get away with charging a 'restocking fee'?

Or not refunding the original postage costs?

You can't do that in the uk. I imagine buyers would hit you with negative feedback.

i had this happen some kid bought a lot of listing like 10 of them thank god the guy emailed me and said im so sorry about that. you can all ways try to offer a half of refund ??? maybe they will let the little brat of the item try thats ;] hope it works out for you.

The item was 110.00 with free priority shipping which cost me $8 , and now it has been used I'm going to offer $70.00 back

If I would resell it the most I'll get it used depending on the condition , but assuming it's good I can resell for 70.00

It's just not even worth reselling I'll keep it maybe

If he does not want to do the partial refund. I would try to resell the item , with ebay the buyer has the power.
