Shipping questions.
 
I bought a laptop on ebay. The seller shipped it through fedex. When the laptop was shipped I wasn't there and one of my employee declined the delivery. The fedex truck shipped it back to the seller. Now the tracking number is updated to "delivered" when it is shipped to the seller. I don't even know if I could open a case anymore and if the seller decide to not send the laptop Do I even have a chance at winning the case?

I'm thinking if the seller decides not to ship the laptop back I could open an item not as decribed and since he already has the laptop. I would win the case because of the buyer protection

Contact the seller.....Why open a case when it is your mistake? Cases are for last resorts in my opinion anyways.

Obviously I contacted the seller. He havent respond for 3 days. Opening a case is my last resort

If he hasn't gotten back to you in 3 days, he's not running his biz right...Open a case on him, that'll get his attention!

Open, a case. And, if he does not contact back soon.... I would get on PayPal.

What kind of case should I open because the tracking number says "delivered" so if I open an item not received I would lose the case because of it

Go to the fed ex web site and track package from there, it should show it was refused or undeliverable and returned to sender, when that happens it never updates that info in the tracking on ebay or paypal. Cut and paste that info in your case along with a link to the fex ex tracking page.

Don't open any case yet, wait for the tracking to update
It should be something like" package refused send back to sender"

I thought so too, But ebay actually updated as delivered. When it is shipped back to the sender... What kind of case should I open. Item not delivered or Item not as described. Because it is already updated to "delivered"

Looks like the item has be shipped back to the seller if I were you I would call ebay right now and get the funds back.

I dont see anything wrong calling them as a buyer as long as you have all the info ready
such as Name, phone number, address, email and ebay user id thats all they will ask you most likely.
I dont think open an item not described case will help you win since you never get the item right?

The error was on your side so why stuff up the seller?

You sell yourself and would be on here screaming foul if this got done to you.

Reach out to the seller and work out a solution.

It is worth the call - sometimes you have to worry about money rather than just stealth. Work with the seller - you have proof it was sent back. Avoid this mistake moving forward

Track the package directly online with FEDEX.com put in the tracking number and it will give exact details of every city the package went and it it was refused and returned to sender.

Send this to paypal and ebay. Open a case immediately so they cant say, why did u wait so long.

I have had ebay in the past check tracking information, check local delivery office from where tracking states item was delivered and see how far it is from the delivery address on file.

If it says delivered from a delivery office far from you, ebay will take your side. So give them a call.
