Do policy violations go away now?
 

I received policy violations for listing airline vouchers.

Im just wondering if the violations fall off after 90 days like they did in the past?

yeh they fall off, once you do not see it on your messages, it is gone.
that does not mean you can just list it again though. Sometimes you can, but sometimes you get a notice if you list again.

I'm not showing any violations under my account. Doing some searching, eBay removed that feature some time last year atleast in the US market. Im just going by the emails I received, so I dont really know if they just removed the listing or gave a violation

removal is nearly always a violation, you might have got an mc coded email....but sometimes if they think it is an honest mistake it is not a violation and the wording on email shows that....eg. I recently sold something that was medical and after a few times they told me not to list and removed it, said something like we understand you may not have known blah....

Thats the emails I received, something like "you might not have knowed, and we tried to call you but......please dont relist this item...failure to comply can result in suspension of your account"

Do they still go away after 90 days?

They can go back as far as 6 months. Not saying they will, but they can and maybe even longer.

When you got the removal, was it an MC999? Was you restricted from selling or was it just a lil warning?

mc999 and just a warning, but I got 3 of them in a matter of days.

If I relist that item, will they just block me from that category for xx time?

if you continue to relist the same item they could block you from that category, or they could suspend your acct for 7 days, 30 days, or indefinitely! How lucky are you feeling?

3 violations on the same account in a matter of days? Seems like you've already had quite some luck if all those violations were on the same account lol

they are not on the dashboard for you to see.

But, ebay still knows of the violation. Been more than one case where violations 'cleared', then months later that ebay account got suspended.

Cleared violations contributed to that.

the 'you didnt know email' is still a warning to to sell again and it is logged, I assure you....
whether you do list again is up to you....
