please Help, Selling Restriction on my OWN account!?
 

This account is in my actual real name, not stealth. MY paypal was limited recently, sent in all info, was up right away.. Ebay got a temp selling restriction on the 5th of this month, asking for ID, Utility bill, && invoices.. I've had so many issues with these people.. They ok'd my id and bill, said invoice was blurry, resent, 3 times! Via Fax & uploading it. Reps say they dont have it. Resend it. Then another rep says, they dont accept a screenshot of your online banking showing proof of purchase, which another did. Resend invoice. Been way over 72 hours and still nothing. Everytime I call I am on hold way over an hour. Anyone else had this problem? Anything I can do?

Welcome to the world of ebay......the only suggestion I can make is DO NOT talk to an overseas rep....they're worthless as far as help goes....I just hang up if they transfer me to one. When you get connected, first question you should ask, is are you in the USA?...if they answer no...hang up and dial again.

I've called in a ton of times.. Every time they say the Trust & Safety department handles it and they take take phone calls.. :/ Rep I got last night said he will check on it when he gets to work and is going to call me.. This is why you keep up with your other Stealths!

1. Avoid ebay phone calls. They implemented a new system recently and it basically doesnt work. As a result, waiting times are up the walls!

2. their right in not accepting your online banking screenshot, it doesnt have your address.

3. give them what they want, try using their online submission system instead of fax. fax costs money.

I've submitted all info needed by fax and also uploaded it... U get the run around every time I call.. And get no responses to my emails. Bs

From my experience, when you provide everything upfront to paypal, you never have to face this problem.

When you dont, you not only have to give these docs to paypal, but ebay as well. paypal are systematic in handing it, ebay dont have a right clue what to do and end up just turning you down with flimsy excuses, i.e. blurred, or looks ⊗⊗⊗⊗ etc.

So like I said, get all prepared upfront.
