My grandmother is 90 years old and has never/will never use ebay. Can I use her SSN? What would happen if she passes away?

It's highly recommended to not use any family member's info for stealth.

Don't do this....If you use her SSN they can come after her for any taxes due and can mess with government benefits she may receive.

Best thing to to not be using someone else's information now.

Have a look at EIN as an alternative.

Thats identity theft no matter if shes your grandmother, instead use an Employer Identification Number .

I doubt he will use it without his grandmothers permission..

But as someone said before, you dont want it affecting the old girls benefit entitlements. Let her rest peacefully, last thing you need is her talking to a jackass paypal employer on the phone all day and getting no result (a bit like us)....

Honestly imo you can use her social. For gods sake she is 90. Stay under 200 items and 20,000 dollars. Only proceed if you know stealth. If not then no.
