If my account is linked, how long does it takes to get MC999?
 

Hello guys,

So today my best account with 10k limits were online, I uploaded few sales and when I went to my brother's room I noticed that he's on Ebay on his PC (none account was online but like 5 months ago I logged there with suspended account).


Does it means my account got linked? Since he was browsing on Ebay while I did on my stealth.

If so, how long it will take to be banned? it's have been 1 day and still no e.mail.

If you were using the same IP address then yes your accounts will be linked.

That does not mean that you account will be shut down though.

Does he have any issues with his eBay account?

He doesn't have an account, he just logged into browser after 5 months without logging and while he logged in my Stealth was online D:

I once logged in accidentally using wrong IP by mistake, account was unaffected. Almost as if nothing had happened, maybe because it was once and after some time ebay dont check your ip upon login regularly.

On the other hand, if you were to get shut down, has happened in the past to me where I put a suspended paypal email into the payment field of the listing, it took 30 seconds for my stealth ebay and stealth paypal to shut down. It was like a domino effect, and happened so fast.

So if your still breathing after 1 day, I would wipe the sweat and move on, dont get paranoid about it.

Do not have your password and user name remembered on the browser if your using the same computer just in case.

I have it remember, but I make sure I dont login to a stealth user account. If I do, I start treading carefully.

Yes he was just browsing BUT as I said 4-5 months ago I logged in his computer with my Ebay account (that now suspended), so I was worried it may be linked since even though it's have been awhile and he was just browsing with another IP but the COOKIES may be there.
Thanks god 2 days past and no problem.

Let it go...MC999 are issued fast! But I would tread carefully now because if something has linked, ebay probably just put a red flag and would be watching you like a HAWK. One wrong step and they will eat you alive.

This highlights one of the reasons that it is very important to control your IP address and who has access to that IP address.

It is always best to have a dedicated internet access point for stealth and a separate access point for other members of the household and for non stealth purposes.

Clean the cookies or better create a new account to avoid further problems.

You should be ok just don't do it again. I have goofed several times and been ok. I must also say that since I have been on Aspkin I have never been linked. Thank you everybody!
