eBay to disallow flash in descriptions?

I remember a thread where someone complained how eCrater didn't allow flash saying they had some flash in it that boosted sales. Do you think eBay to disallow flash will hurt them? Or can flash do security problems like hack someone's computer or redirect them to another site?
