tracking upload metrics?

My seller dashboard is saying only 81% of orders have had tracking uploaded and validated in past 3 months.

What am I not doing? I have 1 day handling time. I always ship the item by the end of the next business day.

Yes eBay does not give that 24 hour lead way that it takes for the tracking to upload in the system, I had this same issue on a trs account, u need to either ship same day or get to post office when they open in the morning and have them scan everything in front of you

If your not a trs than it is not an issue for you

Also sometimes that number does adjust with big variations sometimes, but just another stupid issue from eBay. Way too unpractical with shipping estimates and now this, anything to hurt the seller

So even if the item is scanned but it takes 24-48 hours for that scan to post, it counts against you? I process all my orders every morning and drop them off in the morning or in the afternoon....All my sept tracking info shows the orders are scanned/accepted the same day I had dropped them off, which should be within 1 day.

If you ship the items the next business day at the end of the day like your opening post says than if it takes 24 hours for the system to update, than 2 days have passed before tracking has updated which makes u passed the 1 day rule for TRS

Thats one thing.

Because usps systems's take 24-48 hours to post the first scan, sometimes longer, ebay should make room for that in the programming.
