| This decision may have been due to the launch of Apples payment system. If hardcore apple users are willing to line up overnight for a phone, i dont think it will take too much convincing to switch to their payment system, especially if its a feature on their iphones/ipads.
In that regard, this could mean millions of people switching over and becoming the biggest threat to Paypal. It could also mean that Ebay sellers switching as a customer demands shifts.
On a personal level, it doesnt affect me too much as a seller and Paypal's presence in China is largely nonexistent compared to Alipay (which in my opinion is so much better).
Only time will tell i guess.... |
