Older Ebay Accounts and limits

Hi all.

I have the chance to pick up a 2003 account but this has not been used previously for selling. I think there is an initial limit of £3500 but will this become unlimited or will it need to be built up slowly?

I often here conflicting stories on aged accounts before limits came in.
