eBay research tool 'Terapeak' problem
 

Hi,

I had signed up for a free trial of Terapeak but had forgotten to cancel it. Now i have been charged £119.95 and wish for a refund. Terapeak do not have a contact telephone number which I can discuss the issue with

What can I do from here? All help is sincerely appreciated.

Your preference should be to write to them.

How long after the 7 day free trial is this?

Make sure to put UK as your country when you email them.

If a credit card was used, you have a back up option too.

Figure anywhere from 3-14 days - personally I haven't ever allowed free trial services to go on...I know too many horror stories of ppl being charged and fighting tooth-and-nail for refund.

iAlaminium I work for Terapeak and I'm sorry that you ended up in this situation. The trial can be cancelled through self-service instantly to prevent subscribing if you choose not to continue. We send you contact details in your PDF payment receipt and a reply from our support team would happen within 2 business days, so long as we have sufficient contact details to follow up with you. We can resolve this quite easily if you contact our team directly and let us know what account we're looking for.

I contacted your support team and they have told me I am not eligible for refund?

According to your policies I am?

'If you have an annual subscription which has been automatically renewed for another year, you may contact us within 30 days of the renewal date to cancel your subscription and receive a full refund. If you contact us to cancel your annual subscription after this period expires, you will not be eligible for a refund, however, you may continue to use the Terapeak product or service you have subscribed for until the expiry of the then—current term.'
