What do you think about my new ebay account?

Long time ago I lived in the US and got booted off ebay. Maybe 2 years now.

I am now back in UK and have tried make a new account here are the steps I have took:
-New IP and windows user
-New email
-New phone number
-New address
-Unrealated deposit account number
-New debit card number & name

My new paypal and ebay went through fine. I uploaded a listing for 5 items, went to bed. Wake up and they are asking me to call them and verify who I am and have removed said listing.

Anyone know why this is?
Would you bother to call them?

Was it a mc999?

I had one of these last week on a new account. Just called them, answered a few simple questions like name add ect, what i was selling and where i got the items, also how i planned to post said items and they unblocked it.

Defo worth a call.

It is their new thing. They like to make ppl call on their first listing quite often. In the US, they ask you easy questions and make sure you have the item on hand and how you are shipping, and so on.

You should call. You have nothing to lose. I doubt they ask you anything about your identity in relations to the US account. They only have 1 EB rep with ESP, and I think he is off this week, so you should be good.
